Boilermaker/Metal Fabricator

For our client, an Australian manufacturer of mobile waste compaction and recycling equipment, Workforce International is looking for a Boilermaker/Steel Fabricator.

We are seeking a Steel Fabricator / Boilermaker to join our workshop team, supporting the fabrication and maintenance of mobile compaction equipment.

Key Duties

• Fabricate steel components for mobile compaction and related equipment
  
• Repair and maintain plant and equipment
  
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
  
• MIG welding to engineering specifications
  
• Use hand tools and measuring equipment accurately
  
• Complete job records and paperwork
  
• Comply with all safety, environmental, and company procedures
  

About You

• Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or equivalent trade qualification (preferred)
  
• Trade qualified Boilermaker (essential)
  
• Minimum 1 year experience (3+ years preferred)
  
• Demonstrated experience welding various grades of steel
  
• Extensive MIG welding experience
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  
• Strong commitment to safety and standard work procedures
